PROFESSIONAL STAFF

J. Wade White, Jr., P.E. is the Principal Engineer and CEO of B.E.C.I. He has built the company from the ground up starting in 1994, creating its Mission and Standards that guide the design/bid/build and design/build operations of the business. Wade graduated from The Citadel in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He is licensed as a professional engineer in 20 states.  Prior to establishing B.E.C.I., Wade spent 17 years with Duke Power Company as a Senior Distribution Engineer and other significant management roles. In his role as CEO, he brings a broad business perspective to every customer’s job.  As Principal Engineer, he adds great technical depth to every project from his widely varied work experiences.

Jason White, P.E., is the Senior Engineer and Vice President with 11 years of experience. Jason graduated from NC State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Jason has experience with large industrial and commercial projects after having worked for Leach Wallace Associates, Inc. for over 5 years. Jason came to B.E.C.I. in 2020.

While at Leach Wallace Associates, Jason focused on the electrical design of higher education and healthcare facilities throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region. His project experience included power distribution systems, lighting design, emergency power systems, and infrastructure upgrades for universities, hospitals, and large institutional campuses. Since joining B.E.C.I., Jason has continued to expand his expertise across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional projects. As Vice President, he plays an active role in project management, quality control, client relations, and the strategic growth of the firm, helping deliver practical, innovative, and cost-effective engineering solutions to clients throughout the Southeast.

PRODUCTION STAFF

Josh Martin is our Electrical Systems Designer. Josh brings twenty-five years of CAD experience covering commercial and residential architectural, structural, and electrical design and drafting to our firm. He has a firm understanding of construction methods and code requirements for multiple design disciplines.

BUSINESS OFFICE & ADMINISTRATION

Cathy Combs is the Administrative Coordinator.  Cathy is responsible for all accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, project estimating, daily operations, and customer service issues.
