Project Description

Proximity Hotel is a state of the art hotel located in Greensboro, NC, and was the first hotel in the United States to receive LEED Platinum certification. Proximity utilizes 100 solar roof panels to heat water and energy-producing elevators, the first of its kind. Brite Engineering provided the electrical design, including the lighting layout, power distribution, fire alarm system, telecommunications system, and emergency generation. B.E.C.I. also provided in-depth investigations into energy-saving products and techniques.
